May 13, 2008 – 6:15 pm

Spyware blocking is necessary on a personal computer. Spyware is software that is designed to take control of the computer from the user. It will redirect the browser making it vulnerable to websites that will introduce viruses to it. It also monitors the actions of the user in secret. Spyware tracks what sites the user has visited and diverts revenue. It can also even change the settings of the personal computer; making it slow, changing the home page or worse. It is an efficient invader of the user’s privacy.
